About Me

Major Shashank Taggarsi is a former infantryman belonging to the oldest infantry regiment of the Indian Army. During his service with the army, Major Taggarsi has been actively involved in counterinsurgency operations. After leaving the Army, he worked with a well-known security company in India. Shortly afterwards he joined a leading Hong Kong based risk management company and established the Brand Protection division for the company in India.

In his career spanning 25 years, Major Taggarsi has spent 18 solid years addressing brand protection issues of several global and Indian multi-national companies in fields as diverse as Pharmaceuticals, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, computer hardware beverages, electrical goods, FMCG, tobacco etc. Major Taggarsi founded SecureMARC in the year 2001, with brand protection services forming the major focus area. SecureMARC has grown from strength to strength based on the uncompromising principle of providing ethical investigative services delivered in an honest and transparent manner while maintaining an unquestionably high level of integrity.
